“Cloudy-headedness, easy loss of footing, and muscle spasms. I’m fine, though, quite alright. Suffered worse.”
He rested his head against the wall next to him, closing his eyes for a moment. “Nothing I can’t fix by waiting it off.” Holmes was mumbling now, breathing in deeply. “Watson will be having my head later.”
“For how long has he been writing of my endeavors, I wonder.”
“If you’re sure, Mr. Holmes.” Natalia frowned a little. “If you need something, though, please let me know.” It’d be horrible if something bad happened to him while she was speaking with him. She’d feel horrid.
Slowly, Natalia nodded her head. “Alright, then.” She said quietly. Folding her hands in front of her, she looked off to the side, trying to collect her thoughts when he spoke up again.
“I’m really not sure how long stories of you and Mr. Watson have been around… But I’ve been hearing them all of my life, mainly from my mother.” Nata admitted in a soft tone of voice. She almost felt bad, not being able to give him a straight answer.
“So it seems.”
He plucked at invisible violin strings with his fingertips. His outing has probably ended by now. Watson would be cross later.
Holmes chewed his lower lip, wondering how he might be able to evade his nagging. He saved the thought for another time.
“I have to apologize once more for my current state of being. I was unaware I would be meeting people today. If I had known, I would not have gone about with such mannerisms.” The disheveled man wiped the sweat off his forehead—when had he began to sweat?

if you’d like i could simply refer to you as being a detective and nothing more.
oh we all have our sources, you and i .
You lightly swayed side to side in a playful manner, you really are just a kid.
Yes, and although the flattery is greatly appreciated, I’d rather just be referred to as a detective.
He noted this as well, lighting his pipe and taking a puff.
very well sherlock, hehehe! i’m sure this isn’t the first time though that someone has labelled you in such a highly desciptive way? riiiiiiiight?
or am i wrong??
You stop swaying for a moment to give him a little grin.
He opens his eyes, blowing smoke at him.
You stepped back and almost tripped over, but quickly regained your balance by having the wind push you back up.
whoa, hey!
Pardon me, I really must control my breathing while smoking.
Trotting back to his seat, Holmes did the courtesy of swatting the newspaper out of Watson’s hands and onto the floor.
Goodness me, my hands have a mind of their own, don’t they.
He sighs, and picks it back up.
Thank you, you have made me lose not only my page but my sentence of the article I was reading.
He snickers childishly and plops down onto his own seat, giddily reading his own book with a victorious grin.
He scoffs, and searches for his page.

He took to sitting down on the ground, crossing his legs as if this were a child’s game that they were playing. The detective blinked a few times before registering what was just said and conjuring the syllables for a valid response.
“Ah. Watson has written of me. He’s told me he’s working on a report, and yet has told me none of what it was and who it was for.”
Holmes smirked inwardly. Blackmail. Yes, very good.
“Oh, it’s healthy. Just..has some strange side-effects.”
She looked down at him, blinking. Shortly after, she chuckled softly, smiling just a little. Out of nervous habit, she covered the pendant hanging from her neck and began to play with the rings on her fingers. Around the pendant was a fairly nervous swirl of color, a yellow-green to be precise.
“Yes, sir. I’ve been hearing of your and Mr. Watson’s adventures since I was a little girl.” She continued to smile, a mix of excitement and anxiety.
“I’ve always been completely blown away by your phenomenal detective work.” The confession came along with a slightly shy expression.
As he mentioned odd side effects, Natalia blinked a few times. It was confusing. “W-well… Do you feel alright? Side-effects are almost never a pleasant experience..”

He raises his eyebrows inquisitively, having taken note of every small gesture, inflection to his voice, and movement of his feet and making a keen assumption as to the tidings he brings.
Holmes clears his throat and returns the handshake, a rather condescending smile crossing his features.
Yes, a new friendship, then.
You look into his eyes with your own and giggle by instinct, shaking his hand and letting go shortly after. Unfortunately you had a slight paranoia of touching someone’s hands whom you barely know.
so i take you you’re a big famous detective right?? from what i’ve read and such. hehe.
He stood upright and clicked his heels, blinking once.
Big and famous are not adjectives I would use, but I am a detective.
Has everyone read about me? Who is publishing these novels without my permission?
